Can I connect my accounting or ERP system to my payments and FX?

Yes. Through Ebury Connect, you can integrate payments, cash management, hedging and reconciliation into your existing systems with APIs, or connect to 30+ tools, including NetSuite and Xero, with no-code integrations. FinXtra helps you work out which approach fits your team. Availability and setup depend on your account and onboarding.

Who uses integrations

Finance and treasury teams
You run high volumes of international payments and want one view of global cash flows, with less manual work and fewer errors.
Businesses with an ERP or accounting system
You want payments and reconciliation to flow into the tools your team already uses, such as NetSuite or Xero.
Software and platform companies
You want to add payments and FX to your own product with embedded finance, instead of building the rails yourself.

Three ways to connect

Business APIs integrate payments, cash management, hedging and reconciliation into your existing system. Software integrations connect to 30+ tools with no code, for a single view of your cash flows. Embedded finance adds payment and FX capabilities to your own product. Many businesses start with one and add the others later.

What you can automate

Reconcile easily
Manage incoming and outgoing invoices, and allocate virtual accounts to your customers to simplify matching incoming payments.
Pay like a local
Automate your payment operations and scale your treasury while managing currency risk.
Collect like a local
Streamline accounts receivable by collecting from clients in several currencies.
Repatriate funds in your currency
Bring incoming funds back into your home currency without manual steps.
Hold and convert currencies
Hold and manage balances in 29+ currencies in one place.
Webhooks
Subscribe to events and receive real-time notifications in your own systems.

Which features are available depends on your account, your jurisdiction and your onboarding.

AI assistants and MCP

APIs are also what AI assistants connect to. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets an AI assistant call tools and read data in your systems. If your team wants an assistant that reads balances and statements, prepares a payment batch for review or answers questions about your currency exposure, it can be built on the same APIs.

Read and report
Ask questions about balances, statements and exposure in plain language, with read-only access.
Prepare, then a person approves
Let an assistant draft a payment batch, and keep a person in charge of approving it.
Only the access it needs
Give an assistant scoped credentials, and keep an audit trail of what it does.

AI and MCP connections are built by your team or an integration partner on top of the APIs. They are not a separate Ebury product. We help you scope what makes sense for your business.

Integrations, API, AI and MCP: common questions

What is Ebury Connect?

Ebury Connect is the set of APIs, software integrations and embedded finance tools that connect Ebury's payments, FX and reconciliation capabilities to your systems.

Can I connect NetSuite or Xero without coding?

Ebury offers no-code integrations with 30+ tools, including NetSuite and Xero. Ask your adviser which ones are available for your account.

Can I automate bulk payments?

Yes. Bulk payments can be delivered with APIs or by file upload. Your adviser helps you choose the approach that fits your team.

Can an AI assistant make payments for me?

We recommend that an assistant prepares and a person approves. Any AI or MCP connection is built on the APIs by your team or a partner, with scoped access and approval steps. Talk to us about what is appropriate for your business.

How secure are the APIs?

Ebury's APIs use OAuth2 client authentication, its platform requires two-factor authentication for logins, and client funds are held in separate accounts under safeguarding rules.

How fast will my payment arrive?

In most cases a payment can arrive the same day. Timing depends on the time of day you book it, the currency pair and the corridor, which determine the payment rail used. We confirm the expected timing before you commit.

Are there account opening fees?

Opening an account is completely free, and you get full access to the platform.

Is FinXtra regulated?

FinXtra works with Ebury, which provides the payment and foreign exchange services. Ebury Canada is registered with FINTRAC, and all client funds are held with Ebury Canada in line with regulatory standards. See the regulatory disclosure at the bottom of this page for the US, UK and Mexico.

Payment and foreign exchange services are provided by Ebury under its terms and conditions. Availability of currencies, accounts and products depends on the route, the amount and your onboarding. Exchange rates move, so the amount you pay or receive depends on the rate when you transact. This page is general information, not financial advice.
